Art Proofing, Production Time and Shipping Times:
Art Proofing:
All products that are personalized require Art Proofing. The standard time to prepare and email an Art Proof is 2-3 working days, unless otherwise noted in the Product Details. The time it takes to prepare an art proof is variable and dependant upon several factors including, but not limited to, the quality of art you provide, and if necessary the amount of work involved in “cleaning up” the art so that it’s press ready. Another factor to consider is the additional time to make changes if you require changes to the “Art Proof”. In some instances, an additional “Art Fee” may be necessary and quoted separately. This fee must be paid in advance. Art that requires more work may add additional time to complete your order.
Production Time:
Production Time is the amount of time it will take to manufacture your order after "Art Proof" approval, before it is shipped. Production time can be affected by several variables. Production time begins after ShapedPens.com has received your "Art Proof" approval.
Shipping Time:
Shipping Time is the amount of time it will take your order to be received after it is shipped. Shipping time is dependant upon which method you choose for shipping. We are not responsible for shipper delays.
Total Time:
All products that are personalized require Art Proofing and have a "Standard Production Time" and a "Shipping Time" dependant on the shipping method you choose. Adding Art Proofing, Production Time and Shipping Time together will provide an approximate date that you can expect to receive your order. Each product has a "Standard Production Time" that is listed in the product details. A product may also have a "Rush Order Production" option that will reduce production time. See your individual product choices for more information in the Product Details. A variety of shipping service levels are offered to give you the most flexibility in determining when you will receive your order.
Production Days (or working days) and Shipping Days are considered normal Monday through Friday business days excluding any holidays.
Order Cancellation Policy:
Any order cancelled within 24 business hours of placement, will incur no order cancellation charge, with the exception of any "Rush Order Production", "24 Hour Service" or "Similar Rush Production Service” products. Because of production time requirements, those items may be cancelled only if the product has not yet been printed. Please contact us immediately for these situations so that we may attempt to cancel the order. Any regular or non-rush order cancelled after 24 business hours will incur a $25.00 order cancellation fee, which will be automatically deducted from your refund. Once any order has gone to print or has been printed the order cannot be canceled. ShapedPens.com reserves the right to cancel or not accept any order for any reason as determined by management with no cancellation fee assessed.
Return Policy:
ShapedPens.com cannot accept a return on an item because you don't like the style or color you chose or if the imprint was not correct due to a proof reading error or a typographical error on your part, the part of the person ordering on your behalf or your agent - whether placed online or through a FAX order form. ShapedPens.com will make a speedy replacement if we caused any typo or did not produce what you specified and /or approved in your Art Proof. With all of our products, which are custom imprinted, you must be totally sure that what you submit or “type in” to us is what you want and is accurate. Please double and triple check spellings, color selections, addresses, phone numbers, etc. ShapedPens.com Customer Service Department must approve all returns (for repair, replacement or credit). Merchandise returned without authorization will not be accepted and returned to sender. Credit will only be considered for merchandise that has our approval. ShapedPens.com will issue a refund for any authorized approved returns within 30 days of the receipt of the returned merchandise. ShapedPens.com cannot begin processing an authorized return until we receive the merchandise. Merchandise must be returned in the original packaging. Customer is responsible for return shipping of the product. Approved “Return Merchandise” must be shipped to us using a carrier that provides a tracking number and proof of delivery. ShapedPens.com recommends UPS or FEDEX. ShapedPens.com cannot be responsible for items lost by the carrier.
Product Guarantee:
All products are guaranteed against manufacturer’s mechanical defects. Ballpoint pens have a minimum shelf life of approximately 2 years. Battery powered products will be shipped with fresh batteries, however, we cannot guarantee the longevity of the battery since it is totally dependent upon usage.
Sample Image Colors and Printing Colors:
Computer Monitor color varies. Sample color images are for reference only and amy not be an exact match. Sometimes PMS colors are noted as approximate for material reference color only and may not be an exact match. In some instances PMS colors will be listed as "True" color. Please see individual product descriptions for details.
Printing Methods:
Printing methods vary depending on the product style you choose. Imprinting method or options will be noted in the product detail for each individual product.
Silk-Screening: Generally, prices include one color silk-screened imprint on barrel up to 3 lines of straight line copy, or as noted on specific product's detail ordering page.
Pad Printing: Generally, prices include one color pad imprint on barrel up to 3 lines of straight-line copy, or as noted on specific product's detail ordering page.
Laser Engraving: Available on specific items only. Prices noted in product details. For pens, engraved straight-line copy on barrel or cap with character count and line count dependent upon the product.
Custom logos - Fees vary per product, see applicable product notes.
Personalization:
Certain charges apply per product as noted on product ordering screen. ShapePens.com will not be responsible for artwork errors when art file is supplied. Stock engraving styles are noted on a per product basis - each applicable product will have an available font style selection box.
Artwork:
Custom logos or art should be supplied as press-ready digital files. Generaly Vector Art in EPS format preferred. Each product has its own specifications for acceptable art or logo formats.
Receipt:
ShapedPens.com suggest that you print or capture your confirmation page as a receipt as well as your order confirmation Email. Shipping: All orders shipped F.O.B. Please choose a shipping method that will guarantee timely receipt of your products.
